Simple divider circuit for TR77 sync?

Hello, I sold an TR77 this summer, and would like to help the new owner sync it with his other gear (Moar cash).

It start/stop triggers by 5V 4 pqn, and he is using a CR78 (or 68) as output.

However Ive got no more detailed info than him saying it then triggers at half speed.

The CRs should be 12 ppq, so is there a simple circuit I can make to cut that down to 4 or split it 3 ways?

Something like this might work, or at least it may be a good place to start as long as the TR-77 is clocked by rising or falling pulses rather than the duration of the pulse existing at a certain level (I've confused myself)

Found this. With the link hit CTRL F and search ppqn to get to the juicy bits

You could build one of these and modify the program?
