Sony C37P thread adaptor

Hello...
I have a shitty question.

I have Sony C37P microphone.
I can't manage to get a thread adaptor for modern microphone stand
because i don't know what is the size the sony thread...
I have never seen a thread like this.
It is large. 20 mm or something...

Please help...

It is a standard 1/2 inch pipe thread.

See this old thread: "Sony mic stand adapter". It will explain all.
Post No. 17 will explain why a 1/2 inch adapter fits the large "20 mm or something..." thread.

You need a WindTech M-11 adapter: F 5/8-27 to M 1/2 in. pipe thread.

Or, you could build a mic stand with 1/2" steel pipe...

The adapter for the old RCA's are the same type...

If the guitar player is using a vintage, two wire floating tube amp with typical power-line leakage current, grounding him/her to a cold water pipe may result in a reduction of your live client base.

Anyway, mic stands should always be "hot" so the singer gets that coveted "lip tingle".
