My Amp... Started To Pray!
The other day while setting up to jam I had my amp on and I was arranging cables, when the oddest thing happened. My amp started to pray! I realized it was a sermon, i'm still not sure if it was live or being broadcast. It only came through when the tip of the cable that was plugged into the powered-on amp was touching both ends of another cable head, which was plugged into some othe pedals & finally my guitar. Was I some how picking up radio? Has anyone else out there experienced similar effects?

Were you next-door to a church? Is there a radio transmitter in your neighborhood? From the symptoms and conditions you, I don't find this all that unusual. OTOH, maybe it is a Message from Above.

Yeah, I used to play with a group that practiced by a trio of radio towers. Was hell for hum during small live shows. One night, the guitarist brought out a nice steel guitar (whole body made of metal) and plugged it into her Blues Junior. Instantly, we got talk radio =D

Unfortunately for her, that meant switching out for the less cool wooden-bodied guitar.
