Alesis Midiverb 3 repair

We have the midiverb 3 and recently the output began to diminish and is pretty much gone, now. I found that I could play with the output/input knobs and get it to work for a while, but not so anymore.

We have a limited budget, and would like to repair this if possible. Could one (or more) of the adjustable resistors be damaged?

Thanks for your advice.
