Voice Prism Plus half Dead Help !

Hello,
I've had the Voice Prism Plus for a good while and really love it
but I now have a problem : a few days ago i pressed the power button and I just get the first screen ie :
Voice Prism Plus
c 2000-2001
TC-HELICON VOCAL TECHNOLOGIES

That's it, nothing else, no others leds light up. I hear the relay click and the screen just stays frozen at the same place every time.
I tried everything on TC site from their upgrade document : SW_Upgrade.pdf
I tried a BIST : Bulit In Self Test : Power / left arrow / preview / store on boot up within 3 seconds but it still stays on the opening screen = No Change
Via midiox.exe I loaded the upload.syx then the clearflash.syx = No Change
I then loaded the latest firmware version 1.03 via midiox = No Change

Is there something I missed some type of reset I could do.
I've searched the web intensely Other people have had a frozen screen or boot up but I haven't seen a solution anywhere except go to your nearest TC authorized repair shop :-(
Any help would be much appreciated as i would love to reuse my Voice Prism Plus again :-) Thanks

Thanks for the reply I thought of that also and it's pretty much my last hope since I already visually looked and tapped at all the components which seem fine. I also un plugged and replugged every connector, but no joy ... :-(
i could check the pins coming out of the power supply, maybe the voltage is off
or it may have noise or ac in it due to a bad cap but i don't have a scope to check that part ...

Its actually hard to check everything without a schematic, but i would start making sure im getting votlage out of the PSU, since its almost certain its a switching PSU, you may have to test it in circuit, or on short bursts, that relay sound may actually be the power supply going off... I mean its very hard to tell with just the info you provided. Also check for bad caps on the PSU, switchers tend to eat up caps.

I dont know how the Voice prism is made, so i can provide very little feedback (meaning im just talking out of my ass), but PSU would be my first guess... specially on units which havent been powered for a while.

TC unfortunetely doesn't want to provide any schematic because of their intellectual property ... :-(
I didn't think it was a switching PSU.
I gave all the info I could think of ; what other Info would you need ?
Maybe changing all the caps on the PSU would be worth a try ...
