AMS Neve 1073 High Impedance Setting = Noise

Hello, I have an AMS Neve 1073 module that I purchased new several years ago and have never messed with changing the impedance settings on the back.

I just decided to do so and am only getting white noise type static when the dip switch is in the high position. I tried the module in both slots of my two space rack and it's the same in both.

Do any of the resident Neve experts have any educated guesses on what could be causing this issue?

Thank you,

CS.

Im no expert but had similar problem, probably its just the switch that need some cleaning (like with mine)... or perhaps some loose wire at the switch!
Also, I think HI is normally what you want to use.

I'll have to open it up and see if it's anything obvious. Thanks.

Got it sorted out and repaired. Loose wire on the input transformer from the switch.

Thanks,

CS.
