Apogee Rosetta to O2R96 through AES
I want to connect an Apogee Rosetta 800 to an O2R96 (with an MY8AE96 card) with a DB25 AES cable.

I had one made with the Yamaha AES DB25 pinout:

Unfortunately, the two pieces of gear do not see each other.

I found this pinout in the Apogee manual (on page 8).

It claims to be compatible with the Yamaha protocol. It seems the only difference is the ground on pin 23. Any ideas on the proper wiring for this cable before I get out the soldering iron?

Any input would be greatly appreciated.

So I changed the pinout to the one specified in the Apogee manual and still no luck... Any ideas from anyone? Perhaps there is a better forum to post this in?
