Schroeder diffusers

In short and to the point :

situation : on the edge of building a studio (A and B) complex. Construction to start this winter. We've had some help from a guy from the RTBF (belgian national radio) who is an acoustician. Advising us in construction / materials etc etc ... a couple of days ago he provided us with a calculation sheet of difusions / resonances of frequencies in the control room A. a 5 page paper with loads of numbers and formulas which are chinese to me.

question 1 :
Anyone out here care to have a look at the numbers for me and see if they make sence ???

the numbers are supposed to be the basis on which we are going to have to construct a schroeder diffusion wall in the back of the control room amongst others.

question 2 :

anyone know a company that could make a detailed plan / layout based on the numbers of how that panel should be constructed ???

The guy who did the calculations is going to do it for us ... but I'm especially curious if other opinions about the same matter would give similar results or completely different ones.

Thanks

Not sure this is of help, but this company was founded by ex-Munro designers, check out their gallery:

They also make a variety of off-the-shelf solutions as well as some particularly good speaker stands.

Hi Chris,

I do a bit of design acoustic work, currently working on a new large mastering room in fact. I would be interested in looking at your plans and figures. Myself, I don't get too much into the maths behind acoustics and tend to use common sense and my ears !! But most of the rooms I've done the clients have been more than happy with. Send me a PM if you like.

Cheers
Tim.

Could I see this worksheet? I am curious. I have a beginner's knowledge of acoustic science/math.
