Matt, which Amek modules are interchangeable?

This is a call specifically to Matt Syson, but I thought I'd put it in a thread so anyone can contribute. I know that some of the Amek modules can be put in various models of their desks, are there some general rules about what models can be put in what desks? I'm particularly interested in the Rembrandt and Galileo.

Hi
Rembrandt and Galileo modules are interchangeable but you must change the faders too, as well as the modules. The fader scaling is slightly different but you would have to live with that. Galileo has audio taper faders (with audio on them) but the Rembrandt is a VCA law fader with DC on it.
Big, Recall and 501 modules are generally interchangeable but will take some effort to get the automation to 'understand' what is going on. The audio buses are all there, but end up relabelled!
Mozart had MZ10,11,12 and 15 which are interchangeable directly.
Some of the master section modules of a Classic and BC11 are essentially the same.
There is not much else module wise but several desks shared some of the 'sub boards' for things like monitoring and automation.

Hi
1, Ebay or the usual suspects.
2, I don't think so, at least not directly without some modifications. These were a little before my time at AMEK. I joined just after the first couple of Mozarts had been delivered.
