Modding an Edirol R44
Hi,

I was wondering if anyone had modified the input stage of their R-44. I know Oade do a mod although I don't know what chip they use. I wanted to have a look inside but couldn't find out how to open it up...anyone know? I'll then take some photos to share.

Modding an Edirol R44 2
Only last week I took apart my R44 (to try to fix a contact problem in a level pot)
I just took out every screw I could see (label them as many are a different gauge/size for no apparent reason) then the covers prise apart.
Didn't fix my problem but would be very interested in modding the pre's of this unit, other than sending it to Oade.
