The plumbing isn't hard at all. There are even slide-together mounting plates for monitors so that you can slip them easily into a location and slip them back out again. Adapting a mic clip to the wall-mount half of one of these would be a trip to the hardware store for a bolt or two and a cable clamp, pipe clamp, piece of hardware or at worse, pipe strap. It would be even easier just to use a piece of wood and the right screws for the back of the monitor (M1 maybe?) and screw that to a mic clip. But i think the whole idea can only end up in disaster.
