Y adapter for inserts on Soundcraft Delta?

Hi folks - first post in this subforum so please forgive if the post is too nooby.

I have a JVC Nivico tube spring reverb that I want to use as an insert in my Soundcraft Delta board groups. It's a stereo unit with RCA connectors, and I have RCA-TS cables. I also have a few TRS dual female to single TRS male adapters, and I was thinking about using these for the left and right channels on the bus 1-2 respectively, but don't know if it would work, and I don't want to blow up my board.

The connector is like this one (except TRS on the dual side)

This should work, right?

Thanks in advance for your help!

Cheers,
Alex

No - that adapter seems to be a simple parallel device.

You need a 'Y' cable where the Tip of the TRS plug is brought out to one TS jack and the Ring of the TRS plug is brought out to a second TS jack plug.

The Tip of the TRS is the send (connect to input of your FX or reverb) - and the Ring is return (connect to the output of reverb).

Suitable 'Y' cables are available - or you can make up your own.
