Prodipe LSP Mic Mod Q?

Hi Master Mic Modders,

I'm trying to mod my Prodipe Lamp Studio Pro mic and ordered a new tube (GD 12AX7) and the transformer (Funkenwerks T14). Also some silver coated teflon wires.

But when it comes to capacitors and resistors, etc I have no idea which ones are which and have no idea which ones to replace with which.

I'm attaching pictures of the inside of the mic and I'm humbly asking all you expert mic modders to chime in and give me some advices.

I thank you in advance!!

Mic Caps

I should of have been more specific...

So there's 5 electrolytics with the following values in the mic:
1uF 450v x 3
220uF 16v x2

Would it be a pretty good idea to replace all 3 1uf 450v to polypropylene film caps?

What about the two 220uf 16v electrolytics ?

Thanks!!

Can you find schematics?

it's hard to say without looking at the schems.
Don't just go swapping caps like crazy...

Unfortunately I can't find the schematics.
But I did order some caps and resistors so hopefully it'll work after the mod.
Thanks though

Prodipe

Hi I live in Brazil and here is difficult to acquire quality microphones, because they are high value .. The microphone Prodipe, in Brazil has a reasonable price and I would like to know what you think of this microphone. And with these changes you made (and Valve tarnsformador) which improved the sound of the microphone. Thank you for listening

Elder9, I'm still in the process of modding so I can't speak for the modded version but the unmodded sounds really really good. One of the best for the price. To me it sounds modern yet has that tubey sound.

Check this youtube comparison.

I wrote AMI and they told me to use their T14 trasformer so I ordered that but still haven't got to replacing it yet.
As for the capsule, I'm going to leave the stock one for now. From looking at it, it looks like a k67 type capsule.
