Thread Starter | Summit TLA-100a gain reduction
Hey all, I was wondering if anyone could steer me in the right direction. My Summit TLA-100a seems to be having an issue where the gain reduction element seems to be out of whack. Even with fast attack and the gain reduction knob cranked, the compressor barely kicks back on the signal. It's not just on the GR metering, it's audibly not compressing the signal very much. The unit passes audio fine and the gain knob seems to work fine so it seems to me like something in the gain reduction circuitry. I just wanted to see if this strikes anyone as something obvious before I pay a tech to look at it. Thanks for your time! |
