DIY MIC : GYRAF G7 or IOAUDIO MK47 ?

I plan to make a DIY tube microphone.

I hesitate between Gyraf G7 and Ioaudio MK47. Wich one is better sounding?

I know that sound depends on the quality of the parts that are mounted.

Parts will be:
My first choice for the capsule is the Dale M7 but it's not avalaible for the moment. I'm in the waiting list, I will order one as soon as it's ready.

- RK47 from microphoneparts.com
or
- AK47 from Advanced Audio Microphones

Welcome to advices and recomandations.

Both are good options. Build the one that you feel confident about electronically and mechanically (and the one that fits whatever hardware/mechanics/housing you can get hold on locally)

For a capsule you may want to consider the Campbell Transmitter CT12 (if you can persuade Tim to put you on the waiting list; he's been swamped with work lately). Not at all cheap, but worth every penny.

Thanks Jakob,

I will order a pcb to Gustav in the next days and I'll try to be on the waiting list for a Campbell Transmitter CT12.

Is the MK47 sound close to U47?
