How to add picture to post?

Hi all.

For about a year now, as I add a picture to a post, I'm only able to add the attachment using GS add attachment feature.

How do you guys insert the picture into the actual post?

Been scratching my head on this one.

Mac osx if it makes a difference.

Upload your picture to an album (quick links) and then paste the link that gives you into a post.

edit: I spoke too soon. Into a album to a link? I'm talking about just reading a post and the picture is right there in the post.

ok.......added a pic to the folder.........now should I be able to install it in a post?
