Music Scene USA

Hey guyz,

I am a musician from greece

and i am having real trouble with where to go in the states.

I was between NY and LA,

but a friend of mine recommended Nashville or Memphis too,
so

Anybody from there?

Any opinions/recommendations?

Thank you!

The music scene in the US died somewhere around 1990.

May I suggest Bulgaria?

Unfortunately there is not much of a music scene left in USA.

If you want a career in music the field has shrunk a lot. LA, Nashville, and NYC aren't what they used to be. Studios have been closing their doors and many are out on the street.

The local club scene has imploded most everywhere except for Austin TX, Beale St in Memphis TN, can't think of many others. I live in upstate NY (not NYC) and the live music scene is almost gone. People don't have the disposable income they used to, DJs have taken over what little is left, and DWI enforcement has kept most people away from bars.
