| Gear maniac | 1 Speaker Only Bass / 1 Speaker Only Treble / Suggestions...
Alright, so I walk into my church and something felt weird. The right speaker sounded like it had a blown tweeter and the left speaker sounded like it had a blown woofer. Given the fact that I highly doubt that such a coincidence would actually occur I was wondering what else could have caused this. Unfortunately, we share the chapel with a group that goes before us and I have about 30 minutes to test and/or sort out any issues before service begins so I need to collect some ideas and testing methods in advance so I can be efficient. Current setup I believe is L/R from mixer to Graphic EQ to Power Amp to Speakers. Pretty straight forward, I need to troubleshoot this down to the problem source and then resolve it. Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated. |

| You are missing the cross-over in that chain... ...find where the crossover is and you'll spot your problem... - if there is no crossover outside the speaker cabinets, then make sure you are using the full-rang inputs... -tINY |
