| Gear addict | Peerless 4722 alternative?
Hi, Are there any alternatives for a Peerless 4722 mic input transformer? I think there are some cinemags that would work, maybe CMMI-10B ? Microphone Input Transformers http://cinemag.biz/mic_input/CMMI-10BRevB.pdf

The Cinemag CMQEE-3440A is the only thing I know of commercially with the correct ratio. Lots of things will work.

Here's the specs from Altec. Basically for most applications you are looking for a 150 ohm primary & 50k secondary. Plenty of vintage iron fits that bill including parts from UTC, Triad, RCA, Beyer, etc.

Thanks! The one I just got is beat up, someone put 9 pin sockets in two spots so I could probably take those out and mount something else on there. Any suggestions?
