Polarity switch

I have a roland keyboard with a sustain pedal that works backwards. Can anyone direct me to a site that has a schematic to install a polarity switch?
Thanks,
Jun

It is possible that the switch in this pedal has options for NC and NO.
Normaly Closed , Normaly Open.
Perhaps one of the wires can be moved to the other end of the switch.

I'm guessing so check the facts before doing anything.

sounds like an old joke we used to play on our keyboardist...just before a show we'd switch the polarity internally in his keyboard's settings. ha, ha, ha.

check your keyboard's settings before switching any wires.

Thanks for the replies. I'm usisng a Roland xp-10. Unfortunately there is no mention of a polarity switch internally, in the manual. Of course I'm not sure what language this manual was written in.
I know most units ( even on my old Alesis D4) determine which polarity on start up or have the capabilities to change polarity. Roland is notorious for making things difficult to interface with non-Roland products. I remember buying a thirty dollar 2 prong power cable for my D-50 because Roland was the last company to implement the 3 prong universal cables
I'm using an ensoniq sustain pedal (momentary switch) that needs a polarity switch, which was given to me by a Roland RD-100 (no internal polarity switch either) user. I've already reversed the two cables with no luck. I'm just too cheap to go buy the proper pedal if I don't have to.

No not just reverse the cables but move one of the cables to the opposite contact.

The switch I am thinking of will have three contacts.
1/ common contact
2/ NC - normally closed
3/ NO - normally open

If the switch only have 2 contacts then it might be possible to replace just the switch into the same hole.
