Pushbuttons for K&H UE1000

Hi,

I'm looking to replace 5 missing pushbutton caps on my Klein & Hummel UE1000 EQ.

Does anybody know where to get them, or which manufacturer this was.

thanks in advance,

wolfgang

hmm does anybody else think that the buttons are the same as in the API Jukebox section ?

K&H UE1000

If so, does anybody know who the API Jukebox Switch manufacturer was ?

thanks,

wolfgang

It's a bit tough to see the details in the linked pics, but what I can make out looks like those were illuminated pushbuttons for "Schadow" switches (later ITT-Schadow, but now owned by C&K Switch).

The "guts" behind the pushbuttons were F-series (still sold by C&K), and after digging around in Ye Olde Files <g>, I found a 1977 Schadow catalog which lists the "FRV" illuminated pushbuttons with a very similar design.

However, C&K no longer lists ANY illuminated pushbutton actuators in their current online catalog for the "F" series switches.

Best,

Bri

Hi Brian,

thank you so much for your help.

I just removed one of the filter cards of the UE1000 so it could be seen better.
I attached a pic.

Do you have any idea where to get spare button caps ? Even used ones would be fine...
I just need the transparent/white part.

Are these by chance are the ones in the API jukebox section. With so many partet out API consoles,
there must be some of these lying around ....

thanks

wolfgang

The button caps DO look like the (obsolete) illuminated Schadow caps I mentioned, BUT the actual switching sections do NOT look like "F" series Schadows.

Send another pic taken from the other side of the circuit board???

Got you message Wolfgang.
I can't help here but I will keep an eye and buy some if they ever show up.
I always assumed they would be an easy find..........
