Drawmer DL241 needs help

Iv'e had this pair of DL241's since 1993. One of them blew a fuse, so I took the fuse out of the good one to see if it was just a weak fuse. It blew also. I was wondering where I might get these odd value fuses and where is a good place to send the bad unit to for repairs. The fuses in the units are T63mAL 250Volt. Both units are running at 115V. Your help is greatly apreciated.

(Just another option).

If you need a 63 ma as used in on 115 supply.

Newark has this in stock. (Newark part number 46F102)
BUSSMANN 46F102

Cartridge Fuse Current Rating:63mA; Voltage Rating:250V; Fuse Type:Time Delay; Fuse Size/Group:5 x 20mm; Body Material:Glass; Series:GDC; Diameter:5mm; Fuse Terminals:Ferrule; Length:20mm

Go to Newark.com
Do a "part number" search on 46F102
Price $1.17

If you want to find all "flavors" do a "keyword" search on "63MA TIME DELAY".

Are you sure there's nothing wrong with the device? Normally fuses don't just blow when nothing's wrong. If both fuses blew straight away, I'd check for malfunctions and/or blown components.

jamesblond,
Yes I agree there's something wrong. It blows the fuse upon power up so there's no real diagnostic I can do. I opened the case looking for any obvious burned components but didn't find anything (one resistor that perhaps had gotten hot or was replaced at the factory- it was the only one that wasn't in perfect alignment with all the others on a very cleanly laid out and soldered circuit board). I lack the diagnostic skills and understanding required to find, let alone repair the problem, so Ill just end up sending it to a pro for service. Since both units are 1993 vintage I'm considering sending in the second unit at the same time to have it gone over also. However, it's still working. I'll likely follow Brad Lunde's recommendation and send the dead unit in to Thermal Relief. While I have them on the phone I figure I'll ask them if they think it's worth it to have the working unit gone over or just wait till it fails.
Thanks for your interest. Christopher

Brad,
Many thanks for the referral to Thermal Relief on the repair of my DL-241. Turns out it was a bad cap, which they repaired and had the unit back in good time. All for what I consider to be a very reasonable cost. Thermal Relief has my gratitude, confidence and future business.
