Anyone know of any room analysis software that runs on os x? Im after a program that can do impulse response and time domain analysis. Can't find any for mac at all, maybe there isn't any. Anyone have any experience of or recomendations for windows based versions? thanks paul |

Paul, > Anyone have any experience of or recomendations for windows based versions? < I can't help you with a Mac program, but for Windows ETF is great: www.acoustisoft.com It does everything the $5,000 hardware analyzers do, but costs only $150 US. --Ethan

Ethan, while I understand your point regarding the usefulness of RPlusD for what most are trying to do here (and I agree, RPlusD is a very good tool for the money and I heartily second your recommendation), the notion that it can do "everything" the larger tools such as Easera, TEF or WaveControl, etc. can do is simply not true! |

Wow, that post was from 2005. As I mentioned elsewhere I now use REW mostly. Whether REW can do everything the expensive programs do is not so relevant for those of us who deal with small rooms only. BTW, what's your name and where are you based? --Ethan |

There is nothing better than a decent speakers, decent mics, decent amp, and a graphics EQ. A computer is the last thing in the chain.
