Ah, missed the fact that this was an old discussion.

Yes, induction is caused by magnetic fields, and no, I didn't make the same mistake. You said that there will be no problem *unless* they are at right angles; I said that induction is lowest (no problem) *when* at right angles.

Now I'm sure everyone is even more confused.
