Thread Starter | Looking for Allen and Heath Mixwizard3 16:2 schematics Hi, I've been looking for schematics for my Allen and Heath MixWizard3 16:2 board for the last couple of months, and have been having no luck. I emailed Allen and Heath several times, but I have never received any answers. Does anyone on here have the schematics for them? The user manual only includes a block diagram. Thanks, Pete |

| Hmmm, that's a very recent product, isn't it still on warranty? What is the problem with it? No I do not have the schematic, I was just interested because I like A&H products. And debugging!

| Allen and Heath is pretty good about general service support to keep products working, but speaking from experience, console designers don't generally throw engineering effort at questions about hot rodding old products. Depending on how old the product is, they have probably made improvements in subsequent generations and moved on. These improvements are rarely simple to cut into an older unit. If interested you might want to get schematics of newer generation models and look for what's different. These changes made by the guys with intimate understanding of the designs involved, could be instructive. JR |

Thread Starter | It's not an older model, and I didn't present A&H with any questions apart from where i can get the schematics. We can do all of the work ourselves on it. The model I have is the same one that's in production right now. I just can't get my hands on the schematics anywhere. |

| I have a newer 16:2. It's all independent channel strips and the whole thing is made to open up really easy so you can change jumpers around on the channels to get the board to fit your needs. Look in the manual it tells you how to open it up. The caps and op amps and ics should all be labeled then either order the parts you want or ask questions on here about what replacement parts would be good for the board. Of corce maybe all the parts in it arn't descrete then you might be looking for mic pre chips but might still be able to be done. People give this board high praise around here and I still think its under rated. Also unless your planning on doing major circuit revisions your friend shouldn't need the schematics although they are very nice to have. |
