Studer 169 PSU

magruith:

No, this power supply does not have enough current. You need a supply that puts out at least 2.5 amps at 14.3 volts, depending on whether you have the 169 or 269 frame. 3 amps would be even better, especially if you are charging internal batteries.

Personally, I would stick with linear supplies, although I have powered the 169's with switching supplies without any issues.

Hi,
I found mine on eBay and it was in the States. I believe I searched for "Revox A77 Remote". Good luck!
Warning: They're really annoying to solder!

hi all
Does anyone has a tip to cleaning the panoramic potentiometer?
mine are very noisy when I turn
Apparently they are sealed and there is just a little space to introduce tissue inside ...
otherwise a reference or other to replace in same space ?
thanks in advance

Try spraying contact cleaner on top of it while turning it back and forth, they are not completely sealed so some of the liquid will get inside.

Studer 169

It won't let me leave feedback on his profile page so I'd just like to add to the praises of Roginator for this thread and also for selling me a 169 that I'm very happy with,Big up Damir!!!!!!!!
