Question Help please - large diaphragm dynamic capsule needed

Hi Everybody!
I need some help, please...
I'm looking for a large diaphragm DYNAMIC capsule for a DIY project that I want to do..

I would like to find a EUROPEAN company (or artisan) that builds this kind of capsules in EUROPE (or an american one that build them in the US) , but seems almost impossible..

the price is not an object at the moment...

(I tried to contact MBHO in Germany, but it seems that they don't do DYNAMIC capsules...only condensers, despite they have a couple of dynamics in their line).

I'd like to avoid chinese capsules.. (I'd like to avoid the problems dealing with something/somebody that is so far and out of my control..)

Do you have any contact or suggestions?

Please help me... Thank you very much!

Best regards,

Cheu

Beyer can provide spares. Their dynamics are probably the best overall in my opinion. The M88 and M201 are fantastic mics.

Thank you very much!Do you think that they are willing to send some capsules (and willing to elaborate/tweak them?) even if I don't have any beyer mic to fix?

They are doing their own capsules in Europe? I didn't know that..(I thought that big companies were outsourcing in china for big quantities..).. If it's true (and if you say so it should) my hat off to beyer..

I'll try to contact them..Any contact?
Any other option beside beyer?

Beyer? Yeah, they're still operating out of Germany. Same with Sennheiser I think.

I very much doubt they would mod a capsule; these things are quite complicated to design.

Try contacting the Austrian/German repair department I guess.

Regarding the KM84 you'd need to speak to Neumann for an original. Expensive stuff, but a Chinese capsule won't sound as good as an original.

you're saying that they are manufacturing in europe (like east european countries), but outside germany? or that they're manufacturing in china?

Any other thoughts?

Thanks again!

German manufacture from what I understand.

No other thoughts really - you will need to research.
