Just checking !!!

It seems to me that the adapters are not wired properly.
Do you have a simple ohm meter ? And check the adapter itself ?
So: Is pin 1 going to pin 1 at the other side ? (It probably will...)
Is pin 2 going to pin 3 at the other side ?
Is pin 3 going to pin 2 at the other side ?

bumping this up.
I sold this unit to Adam march 09. He already dealt with the spdf plug someone arriving messed from me.

if the conclusion is that it hooked up correctly+all cables working...
which part of the mytek could be the issue?

You could return the adapters to whence you bought them, and swear at them for all of us. But it might be easier to just open them up and rewire them yourself. Install them on your DAC outputs, problem solved, move on with your life.

That's fun.

I doubt it was operator error, I've seen this happen also...reference mixes sounded "sucked in" when installing a new interface, wasn't the cables, something at the output stage was flipping it, perhaps driver/software. I toggled the two output channels to "link" in the software and also rebooted, came back online polarity correct.

Computers aren't cool.
