Thread Starter | replacing tweeter
I'm going to replace a tweeter in one of my loudspeakers tomorrow, is there a way to know plus or minus? the cabel in the speaker is not marked with + or - and the tweeter isn't either. just use my ears? Thanks for reading. /Philip |

| I've never seen one that isn't marked in some fashion. Look for a red dot or a small + sign on the diapragm card, on the faceplate and on the magnet. Failing that, match the positions. If you have to use your ears, it may take a while with tweeters. I'd use one speaker and listen to the cross-over region. One way will sound better than the other.... -tINY |
