s-video / rca cable for video

So apparently I have to run some lines to a plasma display before it gets installed, and I don't know what signal; will be running there, so anyone have any ideas as to what cable type would be OK for either run. I don';t recall if the luminence and chrominance have the same ground on an s-video feed. It's been a looong time since I looked at S-video details and don't have time to do the research as I gotta stick something in there today/tomorrow morning.
thanks for any help, I'll check back before I heard to pacrad for some cable to see if anyone has any direction for me.
spanks

S Video cables are just a pair of coaxial video cables, usually molded together siamese style. The ends might be mini DIN or a pair of RCA's. The grounds will probably be separate on the cable but inevitably they'll be tied together at the female jacks. You can use half of an S Video cable for composite video, and there are inexpensive passive adaptors ($20 at a retail store, $3 on ebay) that will go from S video to composite or vice-versa. Two separate video cables can be used for S Video. Hope that helps.

We can nix this thread, I got the spec's for the displays and can run some coax for BNC inputs and for RCA inputs, I'm off to pull the runs now.
thanks
