Does anyone recall if the old trident 80 series transformers were Tamura transformers? The manual from a series 80C lists the part number TXR GM 6701. Anyone know what transformer would sound the most like one from an 80B? Also, what is the tonal difference between a jensen and cinemag transformer? I've got a series 65 and was going to start adding a few transformers to it in the near future and was wondering which ones you guys thought would sound the best. My plan is to buy a few different ones and try them in the board, then when I find a few I really like do 8 channel sections with a few different transformers.
