Question regarding stepdown transformer

Hey guys,

This is my first post, hope its in the right section. I live in Australia with 240V AC. I have just aquired a mint roland Space Echo RE-101. The catch is, it is from Japan. The back of the space echo is labelled as such:

Input: 100V AC
50/60hz
15W

I have found the following step-down transformer...but I am not sure if its suitable or not:

Step Down Transformer 2pin: USA, Japan & Others to AU: Korjo by Korjo Travel Accessories - #SDT98 : Travel Universe

Quote:
Enables 2 pin USA/Japanese 110-120volt small (<24watt) appliances to be used in Australia/NZ.

With self-resetting bi-metal overload protection.

Manufacturing standards: Manufactured to AS3108

Specificatons: Input: 240V, Freq. 50Hz. Output: 115V AC 200mA (24VA)
I assume by the markings on the back of it it is only 15 watts...so that is within the right range. Thing is though, it steps down to 115V ac, and this device is marked as 100V....

AFAIK Japanese mains is 110V AC....so if this was used in the past in Japan, I figure it can surely run on 110V (even though its back plate says 100V AC)....but is 115V going to be running too much power through it?

I figure its better to ask now instead of risking frying it...its too damn mint to risk destroying.

Any help appreaciated thanks guys

HI, I have a Japanese RE-501, love the Japanes instruction sheet under the lid... I run mine on a 115V step down in Australia with no problems, and I got it from a Japanese musician living here who had also been running it on the same one for years with no hassles.
cheers.
