Thread Starter | Mackie- big knob
Hi, I just got a Big Knob it was an open box, so I didn't get manual, or accessories, the AC socket on the Big Knob has only 2 prong IEC connector and originally is shipped with a powerd cord with 2 plugs on one end and 2 slots on the other. The sales man gave me a standard power cord 3 plugs- 3 slots but obviously the third plug (ground) will not make any contact once reach the AC socket. (I GUESS) Someone can tell me if this issue make any difference??? I just know that anything related with ground, may impact how quiet would be the signal. I appreciate in advance some ideas. Thank you.

I've used my Big Knob with a 3 pronged cable for years with no issues. Since the ground wire doesn't actually touch the big knob I don't see how it would be a problem.
