RNC Works Bypassed, but not In. Troubleshooting Help?

I have just purchased a second hand rnc from ebay and am having what seems like the same problem. Did you ever make any progress with this?

Yes- although I don't currently have the unit anymore, I sent Dave an e-mail about the situation when I had the issue and personally spoke with him on the phone about it; he noted my particular model was an older one either way, but we couldn't diagnose the issue over the phone. He told me to ship it to him, and it took a few weeks, but my RNC arrived in the mail and worked flawlessly.

My guess is probably a capacitor went bad in the signal flow somewhere or similar- there weren't any notes or anything in reference to what the issue was.

I will continue to say though, Dave has a superb rapport as far as customer service goes- he personally spoke with me over the phone (I'm no big-shot engineer/producer by any means) and fixed my unit/shipped it back for FREE. Can't praise him and the company enough.

My advice would to be in contact with him via e-mail first, to see what he can do for you.
