Tube Mic pulled out from PS.. Damage?

I left my friend in charge of breaking down the session last night and he pulled the chord out of the Sputnik tube mic and put the mic away, leaving the Power Supply on with the power cable not hooked up to anything. It was left on this way all night.

Can this have caused any problems?

No.

PSU's can run without loads all day long.

It's bad to put plate voltage on power triodes that have no load on them because they become unstable and build up massive inductive charges in the output iron.

But on that little thing, regardless if the tubes are in the actual mic or somewhere else.

Little triodes (Dual triodes 12AU7/12AX7) could give a rats rear end.

Most of them are cap decoupled anyway. So there is not going to be the risk of inductive reactance.

Sleep well. Your gear is fine.
