Do you have transportation? Give Triple S repair a call @ 973 748 4025. They are the regional authorized repair for a lot of major manufacturers. About 20 minutes drive from NYC in Bloomfield, NJ. You might also try BoHo electronics repair. They used to be in lower Manhattan, and their number should be in the Yellow Pages. Excellent. Authorized AMEK repair: Mike O'Hora in Croton on Hudson, NY @ 914 271 7882. About 30-40 minutes from midtown. Good luck, Paul

Hey Nerve,

why don't you contact Amek tech support at:

http://www.amek.com/home.htm

and see if they can still supply the part if it's still available. If you can score a part, most any local repair shop can pop it in. I doubt if they'll want to go parts hunting, so that's your job. Is that Williamburg, Crooklyn? If so, BoHo is(was) the best locally.. in lower Manhattan.

Good luck, Paul
