if anyone needs it Tascam manuals/schematics now up - AnalogRules.com

I hope no one here needs this - but I scanned the 80-8 manual and schematics today if ya do. Other Tascam stuff is up as well...

It's up for FREE download at my site: AnalogRules.com

Go to the Manuals link on the main page.

Every once in a while someone brings one of these OLD beasts into my shop for repair, so I thought since the many manuals and schematics are NOT available for FREE anywhere else I'd better put it up in case any of you get one of these old old old machines in for repair and ya ain't got the schematics and manual and schematics handy.

It's getting to be a bitch to find some of this old stuff on the internet, where it all should be up for anyone to grab when they need it... but it ain't so. Thus it's better to put up everything I can in case anyone needs this stuff.

manuals and schematics should be available and FREE - 'cause that's they way it should be!

regards,

Goreski

Goreski,

From someone who has wasted way too much time fishing the net for service docs, much thanks for the resource!

Should you get hold of a SM (or even owner's manual) for Tascam's Porta Two (not "02"), let me know. I've got docs for my pile of other Tascams, but not that one. Some of mine have gotten sort of ragged and I've been planing to figure out how to scan that stuff as well. If I can get any done, I'll keep you in mind. Right now, it's: 34B(om/sm), 234(sm), 122(om/sm), 122mkII(om/sm) and a Teac 435X(om/sm).

Appreciated,

George

Thanks for this! Great site!

I know of a place that has a Tascam MSR24 and I'm very interested in finding the manual for it. It's not anywhere obvious but I'm still crossing my fingers it is around somewhere so I'm going to dig a little deeper soon. If I do manage to find it (and presuming you don't already have it) I wouldn't mind scanning it in sometime to make it available.
