Thread Starter | LR Matching Two Layer Pots
I would like to update the Output Volume control on my Mytek DAC 96. The pot currently in place doesn't track well as the image wanders at different settings. ![]() Can anyone suggest a good source for and brand of pot that would fit in a small spot, and track well. Anything to look out for (RF problems etc.)? I haven't opened it up yet so I'm not sure of the value. Thanks, and feel free to point me to a place where this has been discussed.

It's most likely a pcb mounted pot so you need to get one with the same mechanical dimentions. Contact Michal at Mytek, maybe he can pre select one that tracks better. Jim Williams Audio Upgrades |

Thanks Jim, I presume that it is a surface mount as well. I sent Mihow an email, but I think I might be on my own here. Do you know of anyone who makes this kind of pot that really matches well? Or are we at the mercy of having to buy a big bag of them and testing? |
