| Lives for gear | Gyraf DIY SSL
Finished DIYing....BUT the only knobs that work are the make up gain, bypass and power switch. I didn't build this so I won't be able to answer questions asked but I will forward them to the builder. If needed later tonite I will take pictures of the inside. It could be working very subtley..but its a SSL so shouldn't the compression be very obvious? Thanks BTW threshold is definitly not working doesn't do anything when I twist it either way PS.. Don't think it matters but the all the ins and outs on the compressor are females because radio shack didn't have any males at the time

Look through the error-fixing posts and questions over at GroupDIY.org: http://www.prodigy-pro.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=110 specially the thread http://www.prodigy-pro.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=47 which is the main error-tracing thread.. Most errors are: - Wrong components - Bad soldering shorting traces - Components mounted wrong These are more than 90% of the errors we see.. Jakob E. |
