Angry Mesa Boogie Mark IV discontinued? WTF?

Am I a little late on the uptake on this? I just found out that Mesa has discontinued the Mark IV! Sure, it's 18 years old, but it's still one of the best amps on the face of the planet! WTF Randall? All I know is, the Mark V had better be damn good!

Just a lil bit late on that one. Sucks though as I really wanted to buy one(or a Mark II C+) and now its a bit of a PITA to get one. I tried a Single, Dual, and Triple rec and it just wasn't the same. Hopefully they make a Mark V and it rules.

Likewise... ever since my music teacher let me plug into his when I was still just learning guitar, I hoped one day to own one. It just sounded that good. No doubt there will be plenty about the secondhand market but still... Mesa could have kept selling it until the end of time. A hardwood cab Mark IV with matching extension cabinet is as close as amplification gets to fellatio, as far as I'm concerned.

Will there be a Mark V? I'd figured they'd moved on from that line of amps... the Road Kings etc. kinda fill in that all-bases-covered vibe.
