Schematics?????????

Hey guys,

I'm looking to get a bunch of schematics so I can have them around when necessary.

So many of them cost money....major money that I can't afford. Is there a website that has this info for free that I'm not aware of. Please let me know.

One particular schematic I'm looking for is a Vox Viscount V115 amplifier. Can anyone point me in the right direction? I found one place but they want 20 bones

Google easily found this for $5. But why do you think it's unreasonable to have to pay for a service manual? Audio gear is no different than anything else. Have you priced automobile service manuals lately?

Ethan is absolutely right, many of these manuals are giving you EXACT specs and values, essentially handing you intellectual property (although not the rights), I recently paid $40.00 for a very old Sony manual on a video production mixing console, that gave me values for the EQ resistors and caps...do you have any idea that that information is probably worth more than $40.00?

I understand WHY you'd want it for cheap, but really $5.00 IS cheap...

I usually do buy what I really need. Like the vox one I'll need to buy. Just looking for some site I possibly might be able to go to and take a quick glance at something in a PDF file or the like to get me over a confusing area of an amp or pre. Sheesh!!!!!

Thanks to those sending links and helping. I don't want to argue with anyone about what should and shouldn't be free, why and why not. bla bla. I find myself doing things for free sometimes. I believe in what comes around goes around.....it's all good.

Oh by the way can someone fix this vox for me? for free!!!
