Thread Starter | Transformers (more than meets the eye) I'm building a Splitting stage box and im trying to find out which 1:1 transformers are best for audio. Whirlwind use their own brand but the mentioned that they also use Lundahl and Jensen. Has any one attempted to make a spliter box or a DI, what transformers did you use and what was the audio like. |

| We made a custom splitter for a client using the OEP transformer model A262A2E. It worked fine and sounds good but you will need to use the sheilding can at mic level. The OEP's may be cheaper than Jensen or Lundahl, but there is no substitution for quality! OEP transformers Cheers Tim. |
