JBL Speaker problem - best way to get repaired?

I was just wondering if someone might make a suggestion for the best way to get a JBL problem resolved. I have a set of 4412 Monitors and one of the 12" speakers is intermittently buzzing when hit with certain low frequencies. I want to keep my pair well matched as I use this set as my main mixing monitors and I was wondering if anyone had a suggestion as to the best method for having this problem remedied?

Thanks,
Bill

Have both of them reconed by an authorized JBL service shop.

All of the JBL parts are available, all of the glues can be disolved. You will have essentially two new woofers at the end.

I assume you have taken the driver out and looked at it, the cabinet and the crossover and wires....

Hello,

We are a JBL authorized reconing station.(24 years)
You can view us at www.prosound.com.

Reconing of the E128H woofers in the 4412 would be $156.50 for each kit (we only use genuine JBL parts, not offshore replacements)and $50 labor per speaker,
so $413 plus freight (back to you) to recone both woofers.

Let me know if we can help.

Sincerely,

m
