Seek Signetics 2518 or TI TMS3122 Shift Register IC

Can anyone help me locate a Signetics 2518 (or Texas Instruments TMS3122)? This is a recirculating shift register, needed for an EMT 250. Thanks for any help.

Oh boy.... in some cases I have found it necessary to replace an obsolete chip with a little PC board that duplicates its function. For a recirculating shift register, a HC4040 counter, a couple of flip-flops, and a little SRAM chip on a little daughter card would be something I'd be tempted to lay out and use.

Modding the unit was my fallback plan but I wound up ordering one through one of those overpriced "submit RFQ" parts brokers. It cost way too much, but at least I don't have to build a daughterboard, and the unit can stay original.

I rarely buy from that type of vendor, but broke down and did it this time.
