| Preamps in Datamix console Hi there. Does anyone know, or has heard about what the electronic topology of the preamps in the Datamix consoles are? I would be specifically refering to the console from the Record Plant used on the "Electric Ladyland" album. I have been building preamps lately and really like a certain sonic quality of the EL record. Let me know if yo have heard anything. Thanks! PJ |

| I have two, each with a different topology. There are probably other variations as well. The EQ is worth more attention, imo. Some of the parts are hard to come by but there are subs for most of them. I think there's a schematic @ Purple Audio. Here's a pic from the Gutz thread. The GUTZ |
