My new custom discrete console

I couldnt resist. This is a picture my newest baby. It's 1968 custom made discrete console with spectrsonics mic pres and line amps, electrodyne eqs, langevin attenuators and gotham audio faders. Its all stainless steel. and weighs a ton. She's a twelve channel console. formerly mated to a scully 1" 12 track. It has an emt plate remote and dolby record electronics built in. The spectraconics pres have germanium transistors. I guess that means the bandwidth is a bit limited. Does anybody have experience with the spectrasonics stuff, or the electrodyne 809 eq's?
Best Regards,
Peter

Shes up and running, Picked it up in San Diego, Welded up a stand, and I'm rockin. The previous owner used it in his home moog studio. Its very punchy. Now all I need are some electrodyne knobs.

Congratualtions! It looks similar to an old Phillips board I once saw. If you have the time and interest to put this board back to original condition, it might outlive all of us, and sound pretty good, too.

I really wish that I had room for something like that. Right now prices on big consoles (other than a very few manufacturers (Neve, EMI, API, etc.) might be bottoming out at their lowest level. And unlike mics, preamps etc, no manufacturer is ever going start manufacturing exacting reissues of 1950s/1960s consoles.
