Yamaha ProMix 01 service docs...

Looking for service documentation for the original promix 01. If anybody's got a copy they'd part with, I'd appreciate it.

Thanks,
Jack

I have a problem with a Promix 01 too.

I need to service the jogshuttle, because it only works well in a direction.
Have you found a service manual for the Promix 01 or have some tips to share?

Thanks!

Another Promix01 here

Well, I asked an -allegedly- Yamaha certified tech about my Promix01's faders dragging and the very same jog dial failure (only works well to the right, gets messy to the left). He told me the cleansing had forcibly to be done with absolute alcohol on the faders, applying it gently and on small quantities with a cotton swab on the fader track, and avoiding any other kind of liquid, be it lubricant or not. Also told me something about cleaning the jog dial pot with Forane or other non-residual electronics cleaning liquid, also sparingly and being very careful not to spray other parts of the console. I have to perform these maintenances somewhat soon -have not done it yet-, as well as finding replacements for the button switches for the "Recall" and "cursor down" buttons, which are barely working as of now.
In the meantime, I've just found a website where is posted a windows utility to externally manage the ProMix01 (via MIDI I guess), in here: Mountain Utilities ProMix 01 Will try it and see how it works (My Promix01 is intended to be a keyboards/synth premix unit, so I won't be nagging its buttons as much as I used to).

Service manual

In case anyone is still looking for the link to the Promix 01 service manual, I uploaded it to my server.

http://www.koston.us/files/ypm01sm.pdf

The A/D converters are on the part list. Have fun.

If you want to initiate fader calibration, press and hold the ENTER button and power on the mixer.

To all of those who need a new fader with the motor, you can call yamaha parts department and they have them for $47. Though, I think that you can get a decent ALPS motorized fader of ebay for $27. I'm not sure which exact one is compatible, but some of them look exactly the same as the PM01's faders. They have different resistance options.

A little update.
I tested the Hosa (Caig) "fader lube" cleaner. Soldered out one of the malfunctioning sliders and applied it outside of the box. The effect is amazing... I've read many posts about fader lube destroying mixing desks but I must admit that it in my case it revived the sliders successfully. It might be a good idea to pull the faders out and open their little cases though, carefully clean and lube the tracks and the wiper and then put them back in. Worked like a charm.

Thanks Krizzz been looking for this for ages.
Infact i have no experience with Promix mixers but i was given a faulty unit and i want to see if i can have it repaired, i've had a quick look at the service manual and suspect this one may be beyond me unless it's something simple!
When i power up the mixer a few lines appear on the display and nothing else happens, using any controls doesn't appear to do anything. I haven't connected anything to it so don't know about that yet, it's as if it's not "booting up". Any advice? Or any reccomended Service personnel in the UK?
Many Thanks
Rog
