NEED SCHEMATIC FOR WIRING PHANTOM POWER

Hi
Just bought a nice lambda 48 VDC/ 1A regulated supply and want to make a phantom power supply, most likely a floor box with 4 in 4 out xlrs (or maybe just 2). I know my way around a soldering gun but am not a circuit geek (and I mean that in the most complimentary sense of the word).
I need a schematic and clarification about balancing diodes etc., and any info about double or quadruple "gang" units like this (is crosstalk an issue?)Can anyone help or post a link? Thanks

Send the +48V to pins 2 and 3 through a 6.8K resistor for each pin. Ground goes
to pin 1.

Thanks if I do a multiple unit can do paralell wiring from the same power supply (with resistors at each mic instance of course)?

That's how they do it in consoles.

BTW, make sure the resistors are 1% or better.

Remember you Might also need DC Blocking caps so the +48v doesn"t get to the inputs of the preamp...

If your preamps use Input Transformers then you really don"t need to worry about it ,Your pramps might also allready have DC Blocking caps but also might not so it would be good to check and then add them to the Phantom supply if you need to....I generally use 47uF to 100uF values....

Cheers

If there's an input trannie, you don't need blocking caps (transformers block DC), so they're probably aren't any.

Use 1% resistors (6.81k) for better Common mode rejection.
