Thread Starter | rtas-vst wrapper?
with all the nerds out there hacking programs and building keygens, binary plugins, and flash in windows notepad, how has no one written a rtas to vst wrapper that allows you to use rtas in a non-pro tools program? i just can't believe it.

I imagine you would need to be a Digidesign development partner as well (you know, to get the SDK, or whatever they call it), and those that are probably won't risk that.

it's just weird that no one's just done it despite a lawsuit. i mean, there are cracks of nearly every program and plugin out there and no one's tried?

shutup about it! it's ILLEGAL. you think it's weird? GREAT. WOW. good observation. RTAS coding is NOT simple, nor is it known to ANYONE OUTSIDE of Digidesign's partners. Why would they make a hack program that people like you would use to pirate and distribute plugins for FREE knowing that Digidesign WOULD find out who did it and prosecute severely? why don't you go hang out at demonoid instead? |

I didn't read his posts and think he wanted to steal software. this is a forum and its a discussion. in his defense, there is the vst to rtas adapter. I would think it could be reverse engineered to work. I used to long for the bomb factory plugs in my non pro tools rig, but in the last few years the vst plugs have come a long way. why did you post just to insult the guy? if you don't have 'real' input then keep your negativity to yourself. the original poster did not ask to be ridiculed by anyone.

his post says "with all the nerds writing KEYGENS" he's obviously been LOOKING for it already. i bet he has the WAVES DIAMOND BUNDLE. maybe i was harsh and maybe i got him wrong, but i don't think so. p.s. read my post all the way through and you'll see that i actually answered his question, something you did not. |

you just mentioned keygens as well. does that make you a pirate too? you are assuming a lot about this guy from just one thread. I now assume you are a ahole. you know the diamond bundle has been hacked and so you too are a pirate. what is demonoid anyway? Why do you know so much about that site if you are not a thief? he didn't post this thread for any reason except he wanted to see why it had yet to be offered.
