Siemens 276a pinout/translation help!!

Hi there;

I'm just putting a couple 276a's in a rack-on the pinout it shows a couple 150uf caps(back to back unpolarized??) hooked up to a couple pins....ignoring this and powering up it won't pass audio, so I'm looking at that now...anyone have experience with these or knows what this is for? Upon tracing inside the module the two traces go to the input transformer...not sure what's going on here.

The 276A schematic..

http://www.creativestudios.com.br/philip/v276a.gif

(grab it while it's there, you may need it later on..)

..shows that pins 10 and 12 are centre tap primaries for the input transformer.

If they're not connected, the unit will get no input signal at all.

If you use it with a signal source without DC potential, simply connect pins 10 and 12.

For possibly DC-infected input signals, connect them through the shown two electrolytics. Use audio-grade types here, as your low-level input signal will pass them.

Does this apply to the V276 as well?

(ie not "a")

Looks great Adam,

I love the sound of these, I am going to rack a couple of W295b modules myself.

Thanks, the blank black metal pannel on the front is where the Phase and phantom switches go (top), and a power light (bottom centre). Im thinking high bright blue LED for power.

Blue LED would be cool. Why would you have phantom power on an EQ?

Got inspired by your racking, gonna start my project today.
